There are two types of visas available for living in Egypt.
The first step is to find out the difference between these types of Visas.

Tourist Visa |
If you want to stay in Egypt longer than one month you will require a Tourist Visa. This visa allows you to live in Egypt as a tourist for a specific amount of time, but not to work. |

Re-Entry Visa |
If you have a valid Tourist Visa but would like to leave and re-enter the country again, you will require a Re-Entry Visa as well as a Tourist Visa.
If you do not have a Re-Entry visa your Tourist Visa will expire as soon as you leave the country. |

Visa Validity |

>> 3 Months, 6 Months OR 1 Year (European/Australian/American & Canadian citizens).
>> 6 Months – You must also have at least 6 months left on your Tourist Visa.
